It is thick and soft, so even if there are small unevenness, the heat sink mounting surface can be flattened. It can be easily cut with a knife, so it can also be attached to small parts. Since it is a non-silicon type, it does not generate siloxane gas that causes contact damage. Because it is insulating, it can be attached to a board with chip parts. By combining sheets with different thicknesses, you can install a heat sink not only at IC but also at the height of the peripheral parts.
