This module is a USB to I2C conversion chip CP2112 (Silicon Laboratories Single-Chip HID USB to SMBus Master Bridg) converted into a package that is easy to use for electronic construction. The USB port is equipped with ESD protection and power supply protection circuits, and is in a 600mil wide DIP shape for convenient use with breadboards.
