Modules is a package that makes the USB⇔I2C conversion chip CP2112 (Silicon Laboratories Single-Chip HID USB to SMBus Master Bridge) easier to use for electronics projects.It allows direct control of I2C-connected sensors and GPIO (8 pins) from PC applications without requiring microcontroller programming. The USB port features ESD protection and power protection circuits, and its 600mil-wide DIP form factor is convenient for use with Breadboard.
After discontinuation, please consider the MM-CP2112C with a USB Type-C connector.
